V Chicagu dnes vecer ocekavaji nejvetsi mraz za nekolik desetileti. Velky clanek v NY Times na toto tema vsak venuje vetsinu textu - aktualnim znicujicim vedrum v Australii :) U tech je totiz kazdemu zrejme, ze je ma na svedomi globalni oteplovani. Zatimco u rekordnich mrazu??? Tam tomu ale je pry take tak. Resp. MUZE TOMU BYT take tak. Rikaji to vedci - klimatologove :) K tomu jeste poznamka MZ. Klimat je slozity system a skutecne muze byt pravdou, ze symptomem probihajiciho globalniho oteplovani je historicky nejsilnejsi mraz v Chicagu. Zrovna tak ale, jako nastupujici doba ledova se nejprve projevuje znicujicimi vedry v Australii :) Tak necht se venuji hlavnimu tematu clanku - rekordnimu mrazu v Chicagu - a vysvetli poradne (i kdyz to treba ctenar vetsinou nepochopi, hlavne aby tomu rozumeli ti vedci, co to takhle vykrikuji - a jenom tak neplacali do vetru politicky korektni fraze ...) proc je ten mraz symptomem globalniho oteplovani a nepletou do toho popis aktualniho leta u protinozcu !

Pomuze silne pofoukani Vasim teplym dechem, nebo i politi vodou (a nemusi byt ani moc tepla)
Tady je to pro skeptiky vysvetlene jeste jednou. Zapiste si to za usi! :) A to, ze zamenuji "wind chill"za standardne merenou teplotu nemusime snad ani komentovat...

Minus padesát stupňů. Ameriku sevřel polární vortex vychýlený horkem z Maroka Meteorologická společnost Atmospheric Environmental Research z Bostonu tuto skutečnost připisuje náhlému oteplení nad severním pólem, které minulý měsíc způsobil příliv horkého vzduchu z Maroka. Právě teplý vzduch polární vír rozštěpil a způsobil jeho posun na jih. Řečeno ve zkratce: za mráz tak paradoxně může teplo. Americký prezident Donald Trump však zřejmě stále není s to tento mechanismus pochopit, v úterý totiž na Twitteru napsal: „Co je sakra s tebou, globální oteplování? Prosím, vrať se rychle, potřebujeme tě!” Podobné tweety psal i při loňských mrazivých epizodách, které postihly USA.
